Uncharted tracks from the Altiplano to Valparaiso
The Northern part of Chile is truly very little known… And for a good reason too! We have learned as we went along that it is in fact “a very well kept secret” by the locals themselves!
In a few kilometers, following the uncharted tracks we leave the seaside to climb some of the highest peaks in the world like the volcano Ojos del Salado.
Northern Chile is about losing sight of the Salar de Surire’s boundaries, inhabited only by its vicunas and the pink flamingoes.
It is also the green valleys, like the one of Elqui, were the agriculture and viticulture abound. Wine tasting is a real delight.
It is the favorite town of the national poet and Nobel prize winner, Pablo Neruda, known as Valparaiso and registered as UNESCO World Heritage place.
We have chosen hotels and restaurants where you will be welcomed in as “a friend”, like the case of an Argentinian Chef, a real passionate showman, cooking before our own eyes and serving diner himself, while delighting us with his fascinating stories.
